Mohali beat Chennai with two balls to spare in the super over-Pic's of this Match
The most memorable match of this season has just come to an end. In what was a thrilling encounter with more than one nail-biting finish, Mohali beat Chennai with two balls to spare in the super over.
Yuvraj Singh emerged the man-for-the-job for Mohali as they pulled out a victory out of now here.Mohali, being put in to bat, scored 136 as only Bopara and Yuvraj managed to score some runs.
Chennai at most stages were cruising along, until Theron came back with a brilliant over in which 2 wickets fell. Chennai then lost wickets regularly to tie the game, leading to a super over scenario.
In the super over, Chennai scored 9 runs thanks to a huge hit by Suresh Raina. Mohali started their batting brilliantly with a six off the world's best spinner, only to suffer a setback with a wicket the next ball. It was then thet Yuvraj showed what he is made of as he held his cool and executed an audacious reverse sweep to guide his team to their first victory.
Juan Theron was adjudged Man of the Match for his fantastic bowling effort.
