Sensational win for Bangalore!
They chase down the target of 204 comfortably in just 18.5 overs, losing only two of their wickets. It was a fantastic batting track and Bangalore won it easily by 8 wickets. It was the first win for Bangalore this year,
their only second in the tournament at home. Mohali will be quite disappointed to have lost the game, not being able to defend 203, making it two losses in a row this season.
Outstanding knock by Jacques Kallis. He opened the innings and played right through, scoring an unbeaten 89 off just 55 deliveries which included 8 fours and 5 sixes.
Uthappa played his part magnificently well, hammering 51 off just 21 balls which had 4 fours and 4 sixes, setting up the win for his side.
Pandey also chipped in at the start, smashing 3 biggies in his 38. Nothing much to mention about the Mohali bowlers, who were all over the place defending that big total.
Jacques Kallis is awarded the Man of the Match
